Tokyo Oktoberfest 2024

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Japan loves beer. So it’s no surprise there’s an Oktoberfest festival happening somewhere at any point in the year. For Golden Week, Octoberfest is coming nearly half a year early in late April and early May. For those of you who are not getting out of town for the holidays, why not head out and partake of some quality German beer?

Literally over the Rainbow (Bridge that is) lies Odaiba, home to many amusement, exhibition, shopping, and dining venues. So it should come as no surprise one of the longest-running Oktoberfest events has been here for many years. This year marks their 21st year in operation. Over the course of one week and book-ended by two weekends, you can sample beers from 9 different stands, and stuff yourself full of sausage and kraut while your ears are treated to the tunes of German music straight from Munich. Best of all, if you can’t make it out for Golden Week, they will be back in late May at Shiba Koen and again at Shiba Koen in September. Funny enough, there is no Oktoberfest in October, but since we get three separate events to chose from we’ll call it fair.
