If you’re the type that is all about putting cake before casserole and satisfying your sweet tooth to the point that would make your dentist’s hair stand on end, then you’ll want to read on further as we present the best places in Tokyo to check out All-you-can-eat sweets, treats, and other sugar-infused eats.

Marble Lounge

Located in the Hilton Hotel’s massive west Shinjuku complex, this buffet regularly collects accolades on its regular food, including its breakfast and brunch selections. But the dessert section deserves its mention due to its themes that change throughout the year. As of this writing, there are both Hello Kitty-themed and Alice in Wonderland-themed buffets available.

Dessert bar available daily 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; many dessert selections continue through the dinner time until 9 pm—reservations through the website.

Sweets Paradise

Despite the name, you can find other dishes like pasta and salads at this buffet, but they are clearly designed to whet your palate for their main course: a 30+ item dessert bar that changes throughout the year. Plus, they have locations all over Greater Tokyo and throughout Japan. If Marble Lounge is a little too fancy, then give this establishment a try.

Cafe & Dining Chef’s Palette

Located in the Sunshine City Prince Hotel, part of the Sunshine City complex in Ikebukuro, Chef’s Palette features rotating campaigns to keep your second stomach content while your brain searches for excuses to justify getting plate #4. Featuring dessert buffet options for lunch, dinner or even just afternoon tea, Chef’s Palette is the place to eat as much cake as you can at 2 pm without feeling judged. Currently featuring a Halloween buffet and a Melon and Mango buffet as of this writing, there are plenty of choices to keep you coming back for more.

All Day Dining Jurin

Now for a place where your camera will get as much of a workout as your stomach. The All Day Dining Jurin located in the Keio Plaza Hotel is a brief 5-minute walk from Shinjuku station and features the popular San-X characters “Sumikko Gurashi” as of this writing, so you can definitely land that perfect Instagram shot while also enjoying a wide variety of sweets.
