What is the GoRemit App? The GoRemit App is a dedicated smartphone app for the GoRemit Shinsei Overseas Remittance Service provided by Shinsei Bank. If you are a customer of theirs, as many of our clients are, you may need to be aware that starting Tuesday, October 1, 2019, overseas remittances will no longer be available at Shinsei Bank branches or over the phone. All remittances will be handled via the GoRemit application. Once this application is set up making remittances should become quite simple, however, the set-up process takes time.

Payment Arrives
As you can see from the time you register until your first payment arrives can take up to 11-19 business days, or 15-26 days total. After your initial setup and remittance destination registration are complete, things will be much faster, but please keep this timeline in mind as the October 1st deadline approaches.
